THE TRAGEDY

I was listening to 96.1 last night, and i heard a very frustrating statistic: 80% of men cheat in relationships and 68% of women cheat!
What is the world coming to? With statistics like that people will just think it has become the norm to cheat on their partner. Even mentioning that statistic would make people reluctant to trust their partners and it would just turn us into a paranoid society, as we would already assume that our partner is a cheater. You could look on the bright side of life, however, and stop to consider that your partner consists of the 20-30% of partners that are loyal..BUT does that frustratung little gut feeling of yours make you feel like your living in denial? Is he really working late? Is he really just going out for drinks with the boys? There are a haunting number of stories circulating of deceivingly 'perfect' relationships that are really absolute nightmares.
If we believe that the whole world is cheating on us, would we return the favour and cheat on them too? Will our relationships just turn into one big cycle of cheating? Will our future society rule out the whole concept of marriage?
Elliot Spitster, Governor of New York, was recently caught cheating on his wife with a highly paid sex worker, and his wife is still publicly standing by him. Does this mean we are supposed to stand by our partners no matter what or does it mean that cheating is perfectly OK in today's modern age?
The news last week featured a group of mature women critisizing the men's magazine, "ZOO", for pubishing a "Win a Divorce" competition. This just shows how the ideology of relationships has dramatically altered.. 20 years ago, the idea of winning a divorce would be outrageously controversial, but in today's society this could be seen as a practical idea because the economical barriers partners face when considering a divorce can be overwhelming.

Yes indeed this is a tragedy and the fact that our society accepts pornography on the shelves of every corner store and shopping centre as part of the shopping list right along side the bread and the milk! I mean what are we doing????Women have become so sexualized that we have lost our spiritual identity all together and we are compared on a daily basis to the blow up doll, are her lips big enough to do the job, are her breasts large or firm enough to do the job, has she a plump uplifted ass that reminds him constantly that its there for the spanking...whatever, wake up people, we have become a robotic society, manipulated by big business, the devil himself is delighting in the destruction this is causing amoungst the average family man and women...what impact does this have on our children, the young girls growing up seeing their role precast as a sex toy, love thing, and Lady Ga Ga...highlighting the soul-less misery amoungst women today. hiding behind the large plastic glasses and a latex jumpsuit, for his eyes only...the pleasure principal...short, unfullfilled satistaction...and we allow this to happen! WOMEN give life to all mankind on this earth...What has happened to us all? Anushka Laprade 2010
